On second thoughts now he will be an established yardie international perhaps we'll get another £50 for him when Moyes offloads him Very Happy
He did well yesterday. Very Happy

he's done well when he's been brought on pretty much since his return from inury (spurs game aside)

He's a whingeing non-team player of a get who throws all the toys, the pillow and the rug out of the pram when he doesn't get his own way.

Taking into account his all round contribution to the team this year, when he has been available of course, there is only one option. Sell him!

thats a bad Griff, bad Griff.

now you give the nice anichebe lad a chance.

seriously though, in the past he's shown some shite attitude but seemed to be getting the message before his big injury last season, since he's been playing after getting fit he seems focussed and effective. He's got alot of good attributes, he needs to get his head down and keep focussed but he'll be more effective for us than what we'd be able to bring in for his signing fee and his salary.

If he can keep his attitude in check he'll be a valuable addition to the squad. If he can't, it's time to get rid.

I would be surprised to be honest after the amount of effort Moyes has put in coaching him as a right winger. Unless he gets the cash to go towards a certain American then. Just needs to find the other £9.75m then.. Very Happy

I think Vic knows that if he works hard and performs, he'll get quite a bit of playing time. There's no way he'd join Coventry.

I can't get the link to open btw.

Everton player at Ricoh on Saturday

Coventry City are believed to have spoken to Everton's Victor Anichebe. The Nigerian internatiional who has made 76 appearances for Everton scoring seven goals, was, it is understood, at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday for the game against West Brom as a guest of City Chairman Ray Ranson. Anichebe, who was born in Lagos, can play as a centre forward or on the right side of midfield
