Coventry can't afford much in a fee. Surely we could get 2m for Vic
Doesn't add up and also Coventry is a shit hole
Some of the nearby towns are pleasant enough though {cough}.

Coventry City are believed to have spoken to Everton's Victor Anichebe. The Nigerian internatiional who has made 76 appearances for Everton scoring seven goals, was, it is understood, at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday for the game against West Brom as a guest of City Chairman Ray Ranson. Anichebe, who was born in Lagos, can play as a centre forward or on the right side of midfield

You've got to say they were more than a little quick to shaft us with Gosling, and shouldn't be done any favours.

I wouldn't hold them in any way responsible for what happened with Gosling. They just took advantage of him being a greedy cunt.

Re: 28: Victor Anichebe - Nigerian Scouser (permanently injured)
On the bench for the reserves this afternoon....
Jack Rodwell and Victor Anichebe are both set to make their returns from long term injuries for the reserves as they face Blackpool at Finch Farm this afternoon (Wednesday 3 November, 1:30pm). Rodwell, 19, has not played since picking up an ankle injury in the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the end of August. The England U-21 midfielder was an unused substitute against Stoke at the weekend, and will line-up in the centre of midfield alongside James Wallace.
It has been even longer since Victor Anichebe's last first team appearance, the striker hasn't featured since being substituted in the final game of last season against Portsmouth. Anichebe has had surgery on a troublesome knee injury and will step up his rehab from the bench against the Seasdiders.
Jermaine Beckford also starts at Finch Farm, the former Leeds man is paired with French U-21 international Magaye Gueye up-front.
Shane Duffy, Shkodran Mustafi and Jose Baxter have all featured on the first team bench in recent weeks and start for Alan Stubbs' side this afternoon.
Team: Davies - Browning, Duffy, Mustafi, Garbutt - Craig, Rodwell, Wallace, Baxter - Beckford, Gueye
Subs: Roberts, Anichebe, Agard, Bidwell, Akpan

Anichebe equalises after being set up by Gueye. Hope to see both in the starting line up sooner rather than later.

Re: 28: Victor Anichebe - Nigerian Scouser (permanently injured)
Vic looked very good, fast powerful and direct also not afraid to have a shot.
Gueye looked promising some good runs and passing and took some good corners.
Baxter looked good, seems to have filled out a bit and looks very comfortable on the ball playing from midfield.
A small lad came on towards the end went on a lovely run from his own half looked fast and skillfully but seemed quite young.
The guy who scored for them looked a good player, made duffy look a complete mug and finished well past turner for their goal
