I'm constantly knackered with one new born. Given his recent twins arrival, I'll cut him some slack on this occasion (as long as he doesn't do it again).

My point.

This was a game I was really looking forward to now not so. I hope we can grab a draw. With Baines we not only lose a good player but one of our only players left who can crave a draw out.

It was said that Gosling looked weak defending v Bate - Benfica will have an awesome time.

If we can come away with only a 2-0 defeat I'd be ok. I reckon we could beat just about anyone in the competition with a full strength team at GP, but away from home with a makeshift defence... affraid

Post  Valentino Blue on Mon 26 Apr 2010, 1:30 pm

personally i think Yobo's worth more, 4m for an experienced prem footballer who's also an international captain would be a bargain IMO. he's still a decent age, has bags of pace and is good in the air. has a few mad moments but I think he needs to get regular football and his confidence back. Distin older, slower and still as mistake prone cost us 5.3m i think.

Post  Luka Perfect on Mon 26 Apr 2010, 1:31 pm

Moyes has clearly had a bust up with Yobo and his attitude has been bad this year, especially with the International matches and he always seems to pick up last minute injuries just before the euro games and Hibbert had to play CB. I think he has to go, I also think that we should get around 5m for him. We will also need to sell him to raise transfer funds.
