Just to say, I think he's gonna be boss.

Still way too early to tell but looks like Moyes does have a bit of trust in him even if he had no real alternatives)

I remember that Harry Catterick dropped a debut on Colin Harvey at the last minute in a European game v InterMilan... and the rest as they say...
I have great faith in Moyes and the squad... he is developing ... quietly behind the scenes... Andy Holden deserves special credit as well...

1933: Danger for Everton. The ball finds its way across the box and out to an unmarked Gustavo Manduca - but Seamus Coleman provides the vital block.

He's playing well, but pretty sure it was Baxter who got the block in

I watched him play for Ireland under 21's against Spain a few months ok and that was the type of performance he put in. Good tackler but can also run with the ball and offload well. Im delighted for him tonight because that will do his confidence no end. A tad lucky with the peno claim as he let the ball go his head but it would have been harsh to give it.

I'm basing my judgement off of the three appearances I've seen from him thus far. He looks fast. You know, fast fast. Against bolton he chased a loose ball half the length of the pitch and nearly closed it down but he made up a huge amount of ground in virtually no time at all. He seems to like to get forward well. His positioning was pretty good tonight and had he not suffered a knee injury last season, Stubbsy said he would have been in and around the squad right now, ala Rodwell and Gosling.

That's great. Not only that he's a youngster coming through the ranks, per se, but we all know we need bodies!Tonteau wrote:I'm basing my judgement off of the three appearances I've seen from him thus far. I think he is far more comfortable on the right than on the left. Good prospect though.

in the words of an ACTUAL supergroup "The Kids are Alright!"
thought they all did very well. Duffy and Coleman I was very pleasntly surprised by their composure. Baxter I was surprised by his workrate.
