Plus even it was true, he will be nowhere near as good as he was before the injury. We might as just write off all the players who are injuried as not going to be ready for a game this season.

Stick with what we ahve, get knocked out of all the competitions at the earliest opportunity and then ahve a relegation battle. At least it will make the season more fun than just sitting mid table!!

With the way the team is performing it will give us the luxury of easing him back into the team from the bench rather than having to throw him in at the deep-end because we are desperate and risk him picking up another injury.
