Re: Reserves
That shirt is a bit big on him. Btw, is there an age minimum to get a tattoo? He has one on his left arm, and he's 16. Just curious.

Reserves
Don’t know where to put this, but just been watching the reserves away at Chelsea. Found a stream whilst looking for Citteh v Liverpool.
Missed the first 45 mins, and by all accounts, Chelsea tore us apart, but from what I seen in the 2nd half, quite a few promising signs. Mucha is a more than capable keeper, some lovely shot stopping saves. In defence, Mustafi and Duffy look a good partnership, Duffy possibly slightly below his best. If they both carry on progressing, can see them making it in the premiership. Nsila? our right back looked good, but it was more the Tony Hibbert strong defensively type good. In midfield Baxter had glimpses of promise, but seems to lack any influence on the game. Gueye played 60 mins, and has to start on Wednesday night, great cross on him. Barkley scored our equaliser, didn’t do much else apart from that to stand out, but there is clearly a massive amount of talent there. Upfront there was Vaughan, who did his usual stuff. Its a shame, but seems like he might have to step down a division to work his way back up.

Re: Reserves
Cheers for the report Tater.
I like the look of Gueye. Played very well when he came on in the Everton vs Everton game setting up both goals. I would like to see him start against Huddersfield to see how he does in a conpetitive game.
How did Joao Silva get on in tonight's game mate? Not really seen anything of him yet to be honest.

Re: Reserves
Cheers for the write up, Tater.
Chelsea's youth team is just chock full of all the stupidly talented youngesters they've robbed from Europes best youth academys. Think they won the reserve league last year. At least ours will have a fair few homegrown talents in it, too.

Everton agree professional contract with 17-year-old Ross Barkley

Everton have wasted no time in securing Ross Barkley's immediate future at Goodison Park by agreeing a first professional contract for the highly rated midfielder only three days after his 17th birthday.
Barkley, the latest Everton youth academy graduate tipped for a Premier League career, is currently out of action until next year with the triple leg fracture he suffered on England Under-19 duty in October. However, there was never any question the injury would alter Everton's view of a player who has been at the club since the age of 11 and he has signed a two-and-half year contract, the maximum possible at this stage of a season for a teenager of his age.
The midfielder starred in England's victory in the European Under-17 Championship in May and was close to a senior debut before suffering injury in an Under-19s European Championship qualifying defeat against Belgium. Barkley has featured on the substitutes' bench three times under David Moyes this season and, although initially expected to be out until April, his recovery period is now ahead of schedule.
Moyes, the Everton manager, said: "I am delighted that Ross has signed his professional contract. We see him as another promising young player and we're looking forward to working with him after his return from his broken leg."

Re: Reserves
Meanwhile Everton have tied down exciting academy product Tyias Browning to a two-year-professional deal.
The right-back turned 17 on Monday and was swiftly offered the contract after breaking into Alan Stubbs' reserve team last summer.
The teenager joined the club as a 10-year-old and has risen through the ranks to follow in the footsteps of fellow former schoolboy star Jack Rodwell by turning professional.
