Can't say I'm that impressed right now, but we all know an england game is no place to judge a player. Has done some things well, but cocked up the basics a few times against a pretty average, but well organised Canada side.

Seems they've rested Hallam Hope, our young striker who looks like he might be proper boss. And we're currently relying on a load of liverpool fancy dans. Although there's a lad from Brum who looks like he might be a good player, and one or two others.

Not that an england game is the place to judge a player, but in summary Lundstram looked a bit of a mixed bag. He played as a defensive midfielder and wasn't afraid to get stuck in, regardless of whether or not he won the ball (and a fair few times he didn't). His passing ranged from good to sloppy but his positioning was largely pretty good and he made a brilliant block tackle in his own box to stop a shot on goal. All in all decent, but I wouldn't expect to see him anywhere near the first team for another few years.
