Don't believe twitter mate, their just bad ITK'S so they think.

Koeman has offered Barkley a good contract, but?Ross Barkley's agent thinks he would get more by moving on .My guess Barkley wants to follow John Stones to Man City but? Guardiola Won't pay 50million.

It might be best for both parties if he were to leave. Having said that, it'd be yet another player to replace. So from that perspective, might just as well try and get him signed, but not giving him absolutely crazy wages.

Everton have delayed issuing a statement on England midfielder Ross Barkley's future at the club. Manager Ronald Koeman held talks with the club's board about the 23-year-old. (Liverpool Echo)

We'd do well to get 20m given his contract situation.

fuck him off, put a 10m transfer price on his head and let the other teams fight it out to sign him, he doesn't want to be here, he wants to be sitting on a bench for Spuds, so let him.

We need to move on from this crap.

The word from my usually reliable source (his mate works at Everton) is that Ross is actually up for signing the contract but Koeman doesn't really want him.

Not sure if it's bullshit or not

I can't see why Ronnie wouldn't want him. For all his faults, he's our best creative midfielder.

I hope he goes, billy big boots, he thinks he is going to walk into a CL side, get paid 200k a week and get a game every week. He'll end up playing for Sunderland or Hull in a couple of years trying to revive his career.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. It was supposed to be 1.5 weeks ago, right? Don't make a threat/statement like that and then don't follow up with it. Don't say anything at all then.

He never stipulated when the statement would be, just that there would be one.

They are all on their jollies at the moment, so nothing going on (even though his phone is right next to him.... Smile )

I thought RK gave Ross a week to tell Everton what he wanted to do and then a statement would be made along the lines of "Barks is staying" or "He is for sale". But I could be wrong (it has happened many times in the past).

This could just as likely be ... Ross and his agent coming to terms that the deal is not really the deal he was looking for... and to compare West Ham v Everton is a different calculation than say Everton to Tottenham or Arsenal....
