So - no matter how you dress it up - reserves or otherwise - we still can't beat a bunch of part-timers cos we don't have the fire power it seems. Maybe when the shit hits the fan we'll start to play properly - after all it's no use slamming 5 past Bohemians and none past QPR...

There are no mugs in the league of ireland these days you know. I believe Craggy Island Wanderers gave Barcelona a right working over in a recent friendly

The Kangaroo was something to do with a visiting Aussie (I think) who brought a Roo with him to Prague (maybe connected with the football club) - it stuck. I read something somewhere - it's all rather weird (like goat fetishism).

I found it now..

This much-loved Prague team owes its name and the kangaroo on its badge to a 1920s tour of Australia. (The team, representing Bohemia, called themselves the Bohemians for the trip; their hosts gave them a live kangaroo as a gift.)

To bring back to Prague? Great gesture but rather useless in the end.

I know - we tried offering Victor to Sparta Prague.. and, you know, rather useless in the end.

The Boh's of Dublin are known as "the Gypsies"
I don't think that they ever contemplated the use of an image of our Travelling brothers as a logo Very Happy

It's an easy mistake to make. Everyone knows that every single Irish team plays in green.
