The thing is that when Cahill had the ball with Beckford on a 2 on 2 and didn't pass the ball and lost it, we hardly touched the ball in the next 2 minutes and then QPR scored. I was thinking to myself "I hope that Cahill wasted possession doesn't hurt us..."

Phil Jagielka sloppily gives the ball away and Akos Buzsaky feeds Tommy Smith in the box, who takes a touch, turns and curls the ball into the bottom corner

How much were they offering

Agreed and we should of done the old English centre half trick and blast it down the field to push up but they kept coming back and back at us we could not get it away.

We could have scored twice, and instead are down.

Also, we are sloppy at times. Like now, freekick QPR.

Its like we have Vic in defence instead.

Cahill missed an open goal near enough.

Baines hit the crossbar.

Well played, ends with Beckford heading towards goal but it has no pace, so it's an easy save.

Just caught the last ten minutes of that half. Looks like we have to score second half, surely?

Went to the Emirates earlier:

Arsenal fucking terrible except Nasri and new fella Frimpong. Once the latter was sent off, Kenny played his joker card and brought on Suaraz - then it was only a matter of time. The Shite looked solid and confident but nothing special. They looked much better with Suarez up front than Carroll. Carroll is such a throwback he should be wearing a centre part and big brown leather boots. And he spent more time on his arse than Vic. New Shite song for Suarez to the tune of Depeche Mode is embarrassing.

my fault sorry, didn't put my EFC players back in the fantasy side, forgot to wear the lucky shirt, and my lucky coffee mug has gone missing again.

and we were still 0-0 until I got the feed to work.

OTOH we have Arteta, Fella and Saha (and Vic) to make changes with

Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1

Post  RhinoJagz on Sat 20 Aug 2011, 3:52 pm

Half Time Widescreen report:

It looked for the first 15 mins we were going to piss this but QPR put a few passes together and deserved their goal due mainly to Everton sloppy play. We should be level if not easily ahead but the team is unbalanced.
The rightside is the main concern with Neville and Rodwell unable to get anything going together. Rodwell is wasted out there and plainly uncomfortable and either move him into the middle or take him off and stick Arteta out there.
Barkley looks a star alright. Hasnt coughed up possession once, nice neat passes and took his effort well. Very promising. QPR are no great shakes but we are making them look good with lapses in concentration. We need more urgency and aggression but not with the current formation. Arteta has to come on to give us some balance. Cahill & Becks giving it ago up front and should have at least a goal between them.

COYBS
