Norwich Game

Post  Diamond on Fri 09 Dec 2011, 10:03 am

Will be coming up from London for this one. I cant believe this will be my first home game for about 5 years....yeh I know its shocking but I got kids now and wasn`t working for a bit so had to sacrifice football. Anyway if anyone wants to meet up for a drink or anything let me know......And dont worry in real life I am not as negative as I might come across on here sometimes ;-)

Only get to a couple a games a season myself now, and one of them is usually away. Wont be able to make this one, but would have liked to have had a drink with you. A few of the lads usually meet up, but dixie has got man-flu or something, and albert and bryan just pretend they go the match but they never show!

Have a good one mate - hope we win, but if we don't lambert might be our next manager when moyes goes.

Would have liked to meet you mate but I'm not up to it just yet. Doubt I will be getting to a match this year, probably be Feb or March the next time I'm at Goodison. Crying or Very sad I want to get a few games in next year though as I haven't been to many this year with my wedding and now my illness.

Can Everton sustain the skills of Chris Sutton, Ruel Fox, Jeremy Goss et al. Don't know any Norwich players.

In fact did they not once beat us 1-5 at Goodison.

1-1, OG for us, Justin Fashinu for them

Re: Everton 1 Norwich 1 (Osman)

Post  The President on Fri 16 Dec 2011, 12:24 pm

I agree with Lawro's prediction 2-0

Norwich fans will turn up in their droves, making a lot of noise, and adding to the atmosphere at Goodison Park. It's a great place to play because the crowd are at you all the time.

The Canaries have generally given a good account of themselves on their travels and don't even look like they're going to struggle in the Premier League this season. They are more than capable of holding their own.

Cult-figure Grant Holt has done well and is a handful when the wide men pump crosses into the box, and Steve Morison isn't a bad player either.

But they come up against an Everton team that will fight them - I mean that in the best possible way - and the Toffees will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance in the defeat by Stoke.

Prediction: 2-0

Osman, Rodwell and Drenthe may feature against Norwich. No mention of Victor sadly.
