Sounds like a very professional job this afternoon. Its helps when its not up to us to dictate the play but react to it..

Left back the top scorer, eh...

Liverpool have a goal disallowed at Anfield and this won't do Luis Suarez's reputation any good. Skrtel wins a header at the far post and Suarez bundles it home before celebrating wildly. Referee Lee Mason appears to give the goal, but changes his mind with replays showing he pushed the ball in with his hand

What a story this is turning into at Anfield! Following a corner, James McArthur attempts a volley from the edge of the area, which is blocked by but only as far as centre-back Gary Caldwell, who shows superb composure to cut inside the diving Andy Carroll and finish.

Have they finally given up with Carroll as a striker and stuck him in goal??? lol! lol!

Some worries faces at Anfield. Mixed with some angry faces. Liverpool are staring down the barrel at a home defeat to struggling Wigan. It will be a massive result for the Latics, but what repurcussions will it have on Kenny Dalglish's reign on Merseyside?
