Talking point alert at Anfield as Luis Suarez goes down in the area - but doesn't get a penalty. I think his reputation proceeds him here, as there is definitely contact with Alan Hutton, but the referee is having none of it. We might hear more about that one.

Just watched the replay of the Hibbert cross, and I wrongly thought that the cross took a deflection off the Norwich defender, it didn't. So, clearly that must have been the closest Hibbert has ever come at scoring.

Dempsey is on fire! USA! USA! USA! Laughing Laughing Laughing

GOAL - Bolton 0-2 Fulham - Clint Dempsey (45 mins)
Clint Dempsey's kind of a big deal. He has many leather-bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany. He's also put Fulham in total control here, he heads in Damien Duff's cross from the right.

By the way, we have had a contender for miss of the season at Anfield just before the break. Steven Gerrard latches on to a Luis Suarez cross to the far post and the Reds captain fires a shot across goal which Dirk Kuyt has the chance to turn in from two yards but puts over. Suarez is then clear only to shoot straight at keeper Shay Given. I have no idea how Kuyt managed to miss that.

3 years younger then Tim Cahill and probably in the prime of his career now. Would work well off Jelavic. Wink

Kuyt with awful miss. Saurez with a few peno appeals. You can see Kenny's post-match script writing itself.

But only needed about 2 of those meters to stick the ball in the net!

Norwich freekick some 22 yards out to the right... They are already showing more intent than we are.

Not sure why Moyes was not more interested in changing up the centre midfield since we are really struggling to hold on to the ball.

Everton make a change at the break, with Seamus Coleman on for Magaye Gueye. Gueye looked to be holding his hamstring at the end of the first half.

Oh, that was close, Jelavic with a nice cross into the box and before Coleman can slot the ball into the net, a Norwich defender kicks the ball out for a corner.
