Kevin Kilbane

Retired from all forms of football today due to injuries.

I'll get stick for this, but I think he was great for us. Gave us some real balance as a proper left sided player (something we really lacked when pembo left) and never gave anything less 100% despite his clear limitations. Laid on the assist for Vaughny's record breaking goal vs palace, too.

Well in Kev, I thought you were tops.

Don't think you will mate. Steady(ish) player who, as you say, always gave his all. Top man.

He was pretty solid for us and had a particularly good first season as I recall.
