He did nothing at all today. He looked good against Stevenage (but that was against Stevenage) and did some good things in the Newcastle game but is pretty greedy. Shows promise but I doubt we will see too much from him this season.

He's got plenty of learning to do. I hope he can have an impact in games with his pace and maybe create a few chances for Lukaku and Super Kev.

I don't think we have seen the best of him to be fair. He's still young and learning the trade.

Not saying he's going to be the next Ronaldo, but he needs some time. Similarly to Barkley (who was rather quiet today against City).

Foofoo is willing to take on the defenders, exactly what we need if we are chasing a game. Don't think he has enough stamina to start yet though, so will be used as a sub for the time being.

In a similar vein, I worked with 2 Koreans, and a Jamaica steward who everone called Georgy Porgy.
Whenever I called him Georgy Porgy, the 2 Koreans would howl in laughter.
Apparently it sounds just like a similar obscenity, although extactly what, I can't remember..........

I'd like to see him start against Palace. Mirallas has been poor of late and I was astonished to see FooFoo tracking back so well when he came on. Good game for him to get a proper chance.

Both Osman & Mirallas have lost their way a bit, even lukaku gave the ball away three four times yesterday. Foofoo looked like a hungry player when he came on, both he and Barkley improved are attacking options.

He needs to stop shooting from really tight angles, especially when we have players waiting for the ball to be pulled back. He's great to watch though

DECEPTIVE DEULOFEU- Everton 4-0 Stoke

This is where Everton's number 10 Gerard Deulofeu touched the ball against Stoke today. Good luck marking that.

Still far from the finished product and Stoke were pretty shite to be honest.

Bags of potential and you can tell he is keen and is learning about the English game with every appearance. Makes you appreciate some players (not naming names) that when they break into the box it is second nature to them as to what they are going to do.

Sometimes with Deulefeau (sp) he breaks, finds himself at that split second where another player would find someone else/shoot/beat a man and he seems to almost freeze.

This is not a criticism as such and this is why he isn't playing for Barcelona, but when that part of his game comes he will be some player.

I wouldn't start him against United either, but the thought of him running at a tired Evra is a good one.

Stoke were shite to be fair, but he destroyed them at times and they were shitting it every time he got the ball. Any team that allows him space is going to be punished. In fact, he's probably going to be at his best against the attacking teams, which would have included ManUre previously. Difference is they have Moyes in charge this season so, oddly, he's probably the wrong manager to start Deulofeu against. How times have changed, we're the free-flowing attacking team now. Weird.

Anyway, as long as the Stoke game doesn't go to his head, I can only see him getting better and better with his finishing and decision making. This season he'll probably have a good run, then burn out after a dozen games. I think Martinez is canny enough to get the most we can out of him before he goes back to Barca. Let's face it, this is one player we definitely won't get to sign permantently even if we won the PL this season.

But, whatever happens, at least two of his runs through the middle of the defence yesterday were amongst the most electrifying pieces of skill I've ever seen from a player in an Everton shirt.

I can't actually believe we've got two of the best young players in Europe in our team - Lukaku and Delofeu are both exceptional talents, and both of them are at Goodison for the season cheers  Rejoice cheers cheers

Labeled the new Messi and still in his teens, Deulofeu has been loaned to Everton for this season and possibly next.

"We have an agreement to extend the loan for an extra year if Barcelona don't need Deulofeu," said Martinez.
