I'm looking forward to seein what McGeady can bring to the team.
He looks like he has the ability to beat players so if his final ball is half decent he should create chances for us. If he can build a good understanding with Baines then I can see Bobbie pushing Pienaar inside in competition with Barkley and Osman.

So far I think he's looked poor. Didn't understand his inclusion at a vital point in the Spurs game.

Same. Took off our two best midfielders and brought on a half fit Barkley and a half fat McGeady.

Me too. He looks like he's been time-machined in from a Scottish team of the 1970s. Don't know what he offers, apart from extra work for Doris.

Not convinced that he's convinced me yet, but I am convinced that I'm not convinced that he can't convince.

We have all been amazed by the substitutions made by Martinez in the last couple of games. McGeady begs to differ...

The midfielder believes Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has played a key role in his early season form.
"He is probably one of the best I've seen tactically," added McGeady.

"Aye, tactically Roberto is fucking ace man. He knows just when tae throw the pie in the fat, just when the batter is crispy, just when tae get it oot and on to the plate. He's no slow wi' the custard either, on the aul jam rolly polly. Aye, Roberto knows how to treat the lads alright. And, like I say, that's the reasoning behind my early season form as ye probably can tell when ye watch me play. Now, where's me fucking Big Mac?"

And giving the ball away? Cos it looks like he's been working on that.

Not that I want to be happy to see a player leave, but he has not been able to contribute much so might just as well let him go.

Any idea what the transfer fee will be? Presumably we will have to compensate Celtic in some way?
