"With Lacina we've seen the specialists and it's not going to be surgery, which is fantastic news. It's fantastic news that he doesn't need surgery, as it means he's going to be available for the end of the season."

Is he for real?  In 8 weeks it will be fucking May!  Send the cunt back and ask for a refund.  Jesus.

Maybe he's hoping that he scores a hat-trick in the cup final and that Kone will get the other two.

Hit the bell on the end there mate. I can only assume that some fat cunt with a cigar in Monaco has stuck his grubby thumb under the small print and pointed out to Bill that we've agreed to pay his wages even if Traore's cock explodes. But, as you say, it's a total waste of a sick bed. We've got plenty of players needing treatment without having to spend time on a lad who, at best, will play one or two more games for us before going home in May.

Fucking ridiculous. The Shite will get a parade to show off the PL trophy, we'll get a parade to show off all the fucking crocks who don't even belong to us. A load of fucking wheelchairs being pushed around the Albert Dock while six scallies and and their dogs cheer.

"We want to work with Monaco and we have the individual programme," said the Toffees boss.

Could he be looking down the road, thinking Barca, Monaco etc can use us as a nurturing club for their young talent, a la Foofoo?

Post  Super on Wed 23 Apr 2014, 10:23 am

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has told Wednesday's Liverpool Echo he is looking to open discussions with striker Lacina Traore about extending his stay at Goodison Park.

A hamstring injury has meant Traore has played just one game since joining the Blues on loan from Monaco in January, though Martinez would like to keep the Ivorian on Merseyside, with the paper believing another loan deal to be the most likely option.

He'll be our stiker in the Europa league games, with Kone and Nais taking the PL games, unless we can pick up a top striker in the summer on loan.

Started in January 2014, ended January 2014.
Its been reported that Roberto Martinez wants to give the big feller another loan, Monaco seem happy enough to do that.
I think Martinez is hoping to buy him on permanent contract?

Re: 28. Lacina Traore - apparently on loan to Everton

Post  Made 4 Gwladys on Tue 20 May 2014, 5:53 pm

Everton want to keep Lacina Traore at Goodison Park on a season-long loan.
The Ivory Coast striker only made one start after joining Everton in January from Monaco because of a hamstring problem but he has indicated he wants to remain on Merseyside.
Monaco, however, need to be convinced.

Manager Roberto Martinez wants to hold on to the 6ft 8ins forward because he feels he offers Everton a different option up front.
The Spaniard is keen to strengthen his squad to compete in the Europa League next season and is adamant Traore could still be a success at Goodison Park.
Martinez told the Liverpool Echo: 'Lacina is someone we really believe can bring something different to the team and he is someone we will try to see if we can get an opportunity to sit down and see what is the next chapter.'
