Welcome
Welcome indeed. I also really liked seeing this:

"It's disappointing for the club and it's disappointing for me to lose a player of Brendan's quality," said Dons boss Karl Robinson.

"I do believe Brendan can be as good as he wants to be and I wish him all the luck in the world. He's going to a fantastic football club in Everton that will only aid his development."

Everton will allow promising young defenders Tyias Browning, 21, and Brendan Galloway, 19, to join Championship clubs on loan next season, with Cardiff and Bolton among their potential suitors. (Liverpool Echo)

Surprised about this actually. Galloway looks ready for first team action for us, in the same way Stones was when he appeared. Sure, he's not the finished article, but we need defensive back up if Garbutt and Alcatraz are going and, surely, Hibbo is due to retire. And Oviedo is always injured. This must mean Bobby is going to buy another fucking useless defender from Wigan when we already have two decent young prospects who can fill in for the odd game here and there. I understand that they get a full season of experience by going out on loan, but at least Galloway is likely to get quite a few games if he stays here.

Maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe Bobby is a fucking useless clown.

What a Bobby boob contradiction, in his after-season interview he said he wasn't desperate to buy defenders as both Tyias Browning & Brendan Galloway would be used as they are ready to make the step-up.

Ten games Bobby boy, That all I give you.

Re: Brendan Galloway

Post  Super on Mon 24 Aug 2015, 11:19 am

Everton will assess the extent of Brendan Galloway’s knee injury in the next 48hrs, with Roberto Martinez admitting he could have a problem in the left-back position.

Galloway was forced off in the first half of the Blues’ 2-0 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday, with Martinez confirming after the game that the 19yr old has a patella tendon issue.

With Leighton Baines already facing a long spell on the side-lines with an ankle injury, Everton could ill afford to lose another option for a prolonged period. Martinez was forced to use Tyias Bronwing here, though he also has Bryan Oviedo available – though the Costa Rican is short of match fitness having suffered his own injury problems.

he should have had better press than he's had so far. Played well in the few games this and last year, against tough opposition. Another good advert for our academy.

I would imagine so. It's fairly standard these days for younger players.
