Post  Made 4 Gwladys on Sun 19 Oct 2014, 9:28 pm

oooh la la ... It's back to Thursday night football as Robbie's Euro machine goes to frogland.

Surely this is Eto'o time after his 5 nano second outing against Villa

I expect a tight 1-2 win for the lads... Kone with all three

Play the kids and reserves, we need 3 points at Burnley..... who of course have not recorded a win yet.... cue the Everton Charity team performance.

Play Browning, Distin, Oviedo, McGready, Besic, Eto'o, Robles etc

He may rest 3-4 players, but RM is after glory this year. I expect a strong line up for all games now.

Martinez wants to win the Europa league, so he'll go with the same starting line up as Saturday, I reckon.

Distin and Jags to continue their previous partnership form.

No 5 and 7 to score for us.

They've just come back from injuries, so I would rest them/use them as subs.

Lille seem to be having a nightmare run of form in their league at the moment (won one, drew one, and lost three, the last loss coming at home against the bottom of the league side), and to be honest, they are not doing that well in the Europa league either, drew 1-1 both times and both times they have had half the number of shots on target that their opposition has had.

Lille were second best against Wolfsburg, sat back a lot, gifted possession to Wolfsburg but they still managed to get a goal, so you can be sure the same will happen (them scoring against the run of play) when we play them.

They are better than their current run suggests as they are only in the Europa cos they got knocked out of the CL by Porto, and even though they have only gained 4 out of the last 15 points in the league they are still only three points off second place.  Their dip in recent form might be due to their captain, Mavuba being injured, I don't think he will have recovered by the time we play them.

Although they got beat in the League by Guingamp (who?) this weekend, they had most of the possession and played high energy football on the break, and they can pass it around lovely, especially in the final 3rd, so they will cause our static defence a lot more problems than Villa did.  On the plus side their defence is woeful, more static than ours, which is why they have been conceding goals, so Lukaku and Nais and in fact everyone should fill their boots.

They play in red and the shyte's latest signing, Origi (Lukaku's team mate) plays for them (so he's a nap to score against us).

2-1 to Le Bleu's (Madar and Ginola)

Actually, that means I can watch the first half, since I've got to go out at 7, so it's better for me.

In fact, I'm going to campaign to get it moved to 5pm. Twisted Evil

Everton will be without the rested duo of Steven Naismith and Leon Osman for tomorrow's Europa League Group H clash in Lille.

Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone, only recently back involved after long-term injuries, are not yet fully match-fit so have also sat out the trip to France, along with Kevin Mirallas (hamstring) and John Stones (ankle).

Veteran Frenchman Sylvain Distin, left out the matchday squad for the last four games, has been included in the travelling party.

On a serious note, when will, if EVER, Kone be available??!!
