Everton 0-0 West Brom
Posted at"I know we're only a few minutes in, but Everton need to make more forward passes! They seem to go sideways too much of the time. This crowd need something to get them going. I'm bored already!"

Is it that bad

Baggies just out to stifle us. Which isn't very difficult, the pace we play at these days.

This is shite. I'm off to make some coffee and see about a chocolate biscuit or something.

Anyone ever been to Athlone? Got a wedding there in August at Lough Ree Yacht Club.  I would imagine a yacht club in Co Westmeath would be a couple of canoes and a shed.

Pretty much could have telegraphed the tactics in this match. Whenever we get near the Brom box they squeeze in tight leaving no space or gaps. We need to open out the game. Get it wide for fecks sake. And fast! Athlone on the River Shannon HC, so pretty big boating facilities that side of the country.

Anywhere to stay round there? I need a warm bed, a massive fry up, the occasional Guinness, and some pretty countryside.
