It really is amazing how poor of a touch Lukaku has. You'd think he would spend some time on the training ground improving that touch of his.

Puncheon with a shot from the edge of the box, over. If I were a Palace fan I would not be happy to be down.

I think I recall McGeady having a touch pretty early on, apart from that. Man, talk about being anonymous. Mirallas not much better.

Re: Crystal Palace vs Everton

Post  hairy cataract on Sat 31 Jan 2015, 3:57 pm

My internet is playing up but, from what I've seen, we've been piss poor, but at least quite solid. All this fannying about at the back is not getting any better is it? Lukaku has been fairly poor, is McGeady on the pitch, and Mirallas has run a few nice circles but fuck all else.

We simply don't have any creativity at all on the pitch though.  Naismith isn't doing it at all, McGeady offers nothing, Barry and Besic are in as spoilers, so that leaves Kevin who is playing for a move and his only two concerns are not getting injured and doing something flashy.  Lukaku is a static lump up front.

A couple of scrappy wins, hopefully we'll get one today, and Billy K really should be thinking about next season and who replaces Bobby Bullshit.

I missed the first 5 minutes. So it appears I missed a lot of the match.

Agree with Hairy, our '3' of the 4-2-3-1 have been off. I think Barkley will come on. Actually Legacy No 5 probably would have been a good shout. Only positives are:

1. Lakuka is getting a decent run at there back 4
2. Coleman and Baines are seeing quite a bit on the wings
3. Our defence doesnt look too nervous
4. Robles actually looks like a decent keeper Shocked

Huddersfield defender Tommy Smith has been airlifted to hospital with 'major head or neck trauma' following his side's 2-1 defeat to Leeds earlier today. The 22-year-old suffered the injury as he tried to stop the winning goal from being scored by Billy Sharp.

No No

Sure hope he's OK.
