Everton v Tottenham Hotspur

Post  Mr_Ben on Sun 17 May 2015, 5:23 pm

Last game of the season and the winner gets 4th place. If only.

Presume we will be the same from last week. Maybe a swan song for Hibbert in the 89th minute.

1-1. Kane and Kone.

Fucking hell just checked where I'm sitting, great seat in the Main Stand... if it wasn't for the fucking great big pillar right in fucking front of me BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I hate Goodison. This is why I've refused to go there for the past two season, I've had enough of paying top dollar to watch crap football in a shithole of a ground. BOOOOOOO!!!!

Still, on the bright side, I might not be able to see every mis-control from Luka in the penalty area.

Feckin' great those posts. Sometimes you can get multiple posts, and at Gladdy end you can get a restricted view of the goal and goal line in its entirety. Maybe they should put a 42" TV behind each of the posts?
We've got just the one post to contend with at Upper Bullens, I got zero view of the Rodwell incident, but that's my only moan.
The performance will make the effort well worth it for you. Wink

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur

Post  Armchair on Sun 24 May 2015, 2:19 pm

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is without Tottenham loanee Aaron Lennon as he can't appear against his parent club. So Kevin Mirallas comes in. Sylvain Distin is on the bench in what could be his last game for the club.

Tottenham also make one change to the team that beat Hull last weekend. Mousa Dembele replaces Danny Rose so Spurs will play a 3-5-1-1 formation. Planning for next season already, perhaps?

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Galloway, Stones, Jagielka; McCarthy, Barry, Mirallas, Barkley, Osman; Lukaku

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen; Bentaleb, Dembele, Mason, Chadli, Lamela; Eriksen; Kane

One person who clearly won't be playing for Everton next season is Luke Garbutt, who plays no part today, effectively confirming that he will leave the club after not accepting a new contract.

it's looking that way Mad

Howard needs to scream to jags as to what he wants there from his defence. That was a close call.
