Martinez will bemoan the lack of fortune, I am sure.

On a positive note we haven't conceded a late goal or drew the game. Very Happy

Fooking hell. 1 win in the last 10 league games. And remember that win was on a last second header in stoppage time against Newcastle.

That last miss from Coleman sums us up. The Shite would have scored that and done the hokey fucking cokey with their cocks out in front of the Kop.

Fuck off.

Never got going today. The early injuries didn't help but you could see we weren't up for it. Swansea were just competent, pressed us high and capitalise on our usually fuckaboutry at the back which we duely obliged. The tactics weren't going to work today, especially in second half. We needed to play too up top. The players were tripping over each other out on the wings. Poor management, poor tactics.

"I thought we lacked some intensity in our first half play, but the referee made a terrible mistake for the second goal, a clear hand-ball. Second half I thought we showed tremendous phenominal intensity and credit to Swansea they defended well and we couldn't manage to find the final element to our intense phenemonolosity to find a goal that we deserved....."

I like this from Toffeeweb:

I said it last season and still believe it. Martinz is the worst coach we have had in our history. His adherence to a dead philosophy will, in time, relegate us. His ineptitude is beyond belief. His admirers ask his detractors to name a replacement.I would say anyone, anyone in the football league with a coaching badge.
This is not just a reaction to today because I have considered him to be utterly shit for a long time. I defy any Evertonian to defend him. The Naismith money should be used to pay him off and fuck him out of our club before he destroys it. What a sad combination, a really good squad and a self serving charlatan being paid a fortune to coach them.

Re: Everton v City of Swansea

Post  hairy cataract on Sun 24 Jan 2016, 3:42 pm

it's interesting that a lot of players say they love playing for Bobby, and that's why they join Everton. Besic said it again in an interview this weekend. I think I know why. Because he tells them to express themselves and not worry about anything. It's like an English teacher at school saying "ah fuck it lads, just write what you feel, never mind the grammar or the spelling or any of that boring shit. Never mind the structure of the essay, or getting across the important or relevant points, just write down some words. Any words. You'll be great". You'd fucking love it wouldn't you? Of course, you'd fail your fucking GCSEs and end up getting a job processing dog shit at a fucking burger factory, but hey....

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "We were very slow in our performance - pedestrian - but two aspects affected our momentum which was the two injuries.

"The first half and second half performance were very contrasting.

"We created enough chances to win the game. The fearful aspect of our performance was a real shame."
