Actually, it was a very decent save given the deflection 10 yards out.

Great point. A step closer to survival. Just need to bag the cup and it's phenomenal.

FT. There's no point in keeping Bobby is there? The mighty 39 points we have racked up this season is down to our attacking play, but even that's dried up now. There's no way we'll beat United or West Ham with him in charge.

None whatsoever. The only hope we have of progressing in the Cup is to bin the cunt off and let someone else try to motivate and organise the team. Problem is, I don't think there is anyone on the staff who can do that. So we have to keep the clown until the end of the season, then sack him and get a proper manager in.

The Clown:

We had to work really hard for it. It was a good game, two teams with a lot of energy playing on the front foot. Watford were at their very best today.

“It’s a disappointment to concede from a dead ball situation so close to half time and because of the nature of the goal, the deflection.

“There was another 45 minutes to play from then.

“We never allowed Watford to regain momentum. We were strong in the second half again and the amount of chances we created, we showed a little bit of rustiness from the last few games. Another day we would have scored the winning goal.

“We were able to penetrate into a Watford team who don’t give you many opportunities at home.

“We had many good individual performances, Gareth Barry gave us a real fluency. At the back we dealt with the front two of Watford really well and we had a good focus."

Who do I speak to about getting a manager drug-tested? He's fucking excelled himself today. Of course, it's possible he was watching a completely different match on Sky or something.

It was phenomenal that your wife won £160, and I imagine you scratched the foil off the scratch card with great intensity.

Someone posted this on Toffeeweb, from 2009. Tells you everything you need to know.

Everton 2 Wigan 1
Everton with 26 shots, 14 on target

"Wigan boss Roberto Martinez:
"Overall I look at the game and, if I'm honest, I would've been disappointed with a draw let alone a defeat. It (the penalty) was a soft decision, but then all afternoon not a single break went our way.
"I thought the players deserved a lot out of the game, but the key moments went against us. A defeat doesn't reflect the effort we put in at all.
"The character in the squad has never been in doubt. We're growing in every game and the results are not reflecting the good work of the players in the league, I don't think we're getting what we deserved.
"But you can see the progress on the pitch nonetheless and if we keep improving as we are, we'll be OK."

He's a bullshitter who gets his teams to attack attack attack to cover the fact that he has no tactics, no plan B, and is unable to organise a defence.
