Leicester City V Everton

Post  SouthernSmugToffee on Thu 05 May 2016, 9:16 pm

Party poopers Everton will gate crash a party in this 'Heads you win, tails I lose', dead rubber of a league game, where the result doesn't really matter, its the celebrations of the hosts and their fans after they lift the Premier League trophy that matters.

Maybe there will be some pride to be salvaged for Everton if they beat the champions elect, or maybe not, as all focus seems to be shifted from an Everton standpoint on who will succeed Roberto Martinez.

For what its worth it will another draw for Everton. 1-1.

Entire Leicester team turns up pissed, then spends the first half snorting cocaine from lapdancers fannies, while taking it in turns to moon the bank of cameras in the main stand. The champions don't even bother coming out for the second half, sending out the ballboys and kitman to play in their place. And yet, we still lose 1-0. Roberto praises our team spirit and incredible moments, bemoaning our misfortune in meeting such an incredible team at the height of their phenomenal powers.

Sack the fucking wanker now.

It could be the only way we get international recognition. Hibbo scores against hung-over champions. Headlines across the world.

I hope it ends up like the Arsenal game, where we were all pissed in Baby Blue the Sunday before the Wednesday 7-0 drubbing.

(Foolishly enough I put a bet on 1-0 Beattie to score bet that day)

I hope they are all hungover to death and we twat them, the way we should have at Goodison. I have no idea as to how we lost that game...oh wait I do, the ref allowed their blatant hand ball deflection to go unpunished.

I remember thinking that we had been raped, Vardy was useless and Leicester weren't that good after that game.

I still stand by that but fair dos, they know how to defend and counter well....What am I saying, I am with Bobby here, that kind of play is ugly and will only get you cups.....(wanker)

Bugger. Sad

A game might break out for first 20 minutes, with us scoring first but naturally they equalize almost immediately. Then just a stroll around the field for last 70 minutes with both teams pissing about passing it aimlessly across the back line much to Roberto's delight.

Post  Sack the Juggler on Fri 06 May 2016, 6:04 pm

The modern trend now in football is to work on being very organised and hitting teams on the counter, just like Leicester do.  That is the easiest and most economical way of playing. You don't get hurt, as Leicester haven't this season.  We don't want to be like that.

Playing like that the level of your team will give you a certain level. You will never over-achieve, you will never win silverware, just like Leicester.... oh hang on!

Martinez to go with a 0-0-11 formation, on the basis that we are not going to be a team that is just going to be solid, that keeps a clean sheet and waits for a chance to score. We have been built to take control of the game, to break teams down from open play. That is something we get a real joy from.....  Sad  Mad

I'm going for 1-1, Vardy to score first then drag the whole of the team, management and the Leicester fans down to the pub to take turns drinking beer out of the premier league trophy and snorting coke off Mahrez's missus's left breast.  Everton to score unopposed from the kick off, and then wait around for Leicester to get back from the pub so they can kick off again..... until we finally give up waiting and go home when it gets too dark to see.  Sleep

Interesting stat about Leicester

■Their average possession of 42.34% is the third lowest tally in the Premier League this season, while their 70% passing accuracy is the worst in the division.

We should just keep giving them the ball - they wont know what to do with so much possession.

Too much opera now, for fuck's sake, this is Leicester not Lucca.  Give over will you!  What the fuck has this got to do with Leicester? They should have Gary Linekar throwing out packets of cheese n onion to the crowd to the sound of Kasabian.
