I lost the keyboard as Davies came on, very strange. A computer restart and everything is great again.

Anyway, should have won by more than a goal, but a win is what is important. cheers

From BBC

Allardyce would have been hugely impressed with Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, who produced a man-of-the-match performance.

Was just thinking that!  Signed as a back-up but he looks decent enough to be our number 1 so far.

Did you see him catch that cross late on? I didn't think that was allowed anymore.

so young too

Everton is deeply saddened to report that the 51-year-old fan taken ill during today’s game against Stoke City has passed away in hospital.

The thoughts and prayers of everybody at the football club are with his family and friends.

The fan, who was seated in the Sir Philip Carter Park Stand for the game, became unwell just after 4.15pm. Police officers, an off duty doctor and paramedics performed CPR on the supporter prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

He was taken to Aintree Hospital where he passed away a short time later.

The Club will continue to provide all the support possible to the family.

Maybe they played more open at home. Maybe the spuds are just better than us.

How do the RS win at Arsenal and then go and get beat at Burnley.

It's football and there is a still, thank the Lord, some unpredictability.
