Calvert-Lewin with a totally free header some 8 yards out and he heads it off target. Oh dear.

Davies goes down in the box but it looks like it's a foul outside the box, nothing given though.

Davies is now booed by the home crowd every time he touches the ball.

Davies with a wasteful pass, out of play and 30 seconds will tick off the clock.

All over, 2-2. Pretty shitty game.

Also pretty typical Everton, beat Arsenal and Leicester, lose to the Shite, can't beat the bottom feaders, etc.

Oh well.

FT, reasonable performance. Probably the better team overall but wobbly at the back early on and we should have pushed on and scored another.

So we need to sell a lot and buy a lot. We continuously drop points to lesser teams because we have no hunger.

We need creativity in the middle of the park as well as more wing play. If Schneiderlin and Memphis can provide that, I am all for going after them.

Yes we're a bit shit. Yes we should be beating the bottom team in the league. But...

We're still 7th, we've got a manager who's clearly not content with the players at his disposal, we've still got money to spend... I still think we have a bright future.

That game ended 1-1 but it sure felt like a loss to most people.
