Everton v Man C

Post  sefton on Mon 09 Jan 2017, 11:51 am

Everton FC vs. Manchester City
Sun, Jan 15, 2017 at 1pm - Goodison Park, Liverpool

Not sure if Any one else lined up to do this, so? If so will be deleted.

Everton take on Manchester City on the early k/o 1,00pm Sky sports 1.

Having held City at the Etiad earlier in the season ,here's hoping for a home win.

Like most was hoping for a few new players to be included but? Its the Everton way to wait ?

Going for a 2-0 win Lukaku and Mirralas. All depends what Everton team turns-up.

Koeman's last match in charge before he flounces off, claiming the board have hung him out to dry by refusing to sanction a £100m bid for Schpeiderman from ManUre.

0-8. Koeman blames the players for being "massive wankers". He then resigns and is replaced by a small piece of cheese. We go on to win everything still available to us this year. Which is nothing.

The end.

The only thing left to win in the toss before each game. We can then choose to bat first on a deteriorating pitch.

Post  Sack the Juggler on Tue 10 Jan 2017, 11:02 am

Everton to win 1-0, Lukaku to score at around the half hour mark, a screamer from the edge of the box into the top left hand corner. City to start pressing after that, but they get nowhere and in the end they walk off to another defeat. Pep to stick the nut on the BBC's Damian Johnson during the post match interview when he is asked if City are still in the title race after that defeat. Koeman says that we worked hard, but we allowed City to dominate the closing half hour of the game and we need more players if we are going to challenge for the title going forward.

Re: Everton v Man C

Post  The President on Fri 13 Jan 2017, 6:16 pm

Lawro's Thoughts :

Everton have already started their shopping in the January sales and I would expect one of their new signings, Morgan Schneiderlin, to go straight into their midfield on Sunday.

Manchester City could have their own new-boy, Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, involved at some point - but I cannot see Pep Guardiola just throwing him straight in.

Goodison Park will be rocking because it is City, and because Everton are signing some players. I am not sure the feel-good factor will be enough for them, though.

Lawro's prediction: 1-2
