Not sure if Gueye will be playing for us as he's flying back after playing a tournament and may need a rest, so I'm going for 0-0, Kone to get a hattrick

Sorry, just done a thread after coming back from holiday last-night, no thoughts about self incrimination.

Its a pity that the same people looking to get snitch points didn't talk about the facts of me winning two threads? when no one else was interested in doing a thread for the Man City game, I did It with-out posting negativity.

Re: Stoke City v Everton

Post  Super on Tue 31 Jan 2017, 12:52 pm

Lawro's thoughts...

Stoke v Everton (20:00 GMT)

Everton have found a bit of form, with four wins and a draw in their past five league games.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has been busy in the transfer market and, with Ross Barkley's form starting to pick up and Tom Davies emerging too, there seems to be a bit more urgency in his team now.

It will be interesting to see how new Stoke striker Saido Berahino will do following his move from West Brom. He is an extremely good finisher and I think he will perk them up a bit.

Both of these sides are in the top half, and for good reason - they both have good managers, who are planners and organisers.

Realistically they are both playing for seventh place this season and, as far as Wednesday goes, I think this will be a hard-fought game, with the points shared.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye will not feature, despite his participation at that tournament also finishing. Boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed Joel Robles will retain his starting place in goal ahead of Maarten Stekelenburg.

I thought he hadn't played since September? Doubt he'll start but he might be on the bench

Same wing-back configuration as we had against Palace with Coleman on the opposite side doing the same thing.
