Chances at either end! Adama Traore bundles his way into the penalty area but is stopped by a desperate tackle, before Everton send Romelu Lukaku clean through.

He should score, considering the form he's in, but he can only drive against the shins of Victor Valdes.

Lots to like about Everton midfielder Tom Davies. He has been very good again so far today, always wants the ball, rolls and spins out of tackles, carries the ball yards and can pick a pass.

It was his through-ball which found Romelu Lukaku for that earlier chance. The chance of the half.

Everton should really be ahead. A flowing move sees Seamus Coleman cross to the far post, Ademola Lookman has composure beyond his years to not slash at a difficult volley but instead bring the ball down just four yards out, his shot is smothered by Victor Valdes, and then Ross Barkley finds him for a second effort which is well blocked.

Boro on the ropes.

Maybe Ademola Lookman's move from Charlton to Everton wasn't over-priced after all. The youngster is the outstanding player on the field so far as he beats two men on the left and shoots into the side-netting.

Terrible conditions, a very physical Boro side, I'm not too unhappy with the draw. Robles very solid, Davies good again, Lookman will score goals for us even if he didn't today, and Baines had his best game in a long while - probably my MOTM.

Rom anonymous, Barkley played a couple of great balls but battled in vain a lot of the time, Gueye looked like he needs a few more weeks to get back into it, Coleman good, Williams alright for an old hoofer, Mori okay, Schneiderlin classy. Valencia not good enough, nor Lennon. Barry good to bring on for ten minutes every now and then.

Lookman for just £7m balances out the huge amount we spent on Bolasie. Who says you can't get bargains in the January window?

Thats the thing with 'Beast Mode'. Once used, takes several games to replenish and activate again. Still Sunderland next should give him a change to be affective on 25% beast mode.
