Should be stated that Barkley's ball to Davies was great and the selfishness and composure that Davies showed when he found DCL was also very good.

Barkley with a half chance, he has a pop at goal but he's closed down and his effort is blocked. Hull counter but Jags clear. We need to keep an eye on the counter attacks since we are having so many players in the Hull half.

Diego Costa's frustration boiling over at the Bet365 Stadium.

He has been given some treatment today by firstly, Bruno Martin Indi, who dragged him to the ground in the penalty area, before Erik Pieters shoulder-barges him over into the advertising boardings.

Costa does not like it and throws a volley - a verbal one - at the referee and is given a yellow card.

The Spaniard then stomps away like a kid who has been told to go to his bedroom by his mummy.

lol! lol! lol!

Great cross from Barkley in to the box but Davies and DCL can't get to the ball, they are both just inches away.

Barkley is fairly involved, but he really needs to restrict the time he spends with the ball since when he takes too much time he gets closed down by 1 or 2 players and the attack comes to a crawl.

Everton's flow is momentarily disrupted as Ronald Koeman is forced into a change with half-an-hour gone. Morgan Schneiderlin is injured and replaced by Gareth Barry.

It is so congested around the Hull box, hard to find a way through.

Williams with a looping header from a Barry chip, easy save for the goalie.

With just a 1-0 lead I am still nervous when Hull attack, even though the attacks are few and far between. Another goal for us ought to take care of the 3 points.

Davies attacks the defenders and is brought down some 25 yards out. Freekick.
