And it's all over, 4-2. A great game and an equally great 3 points.

Great first half entertainment and a fair result in the end. Aside from a couple of comical moments at the back in the first half we've been fairly comfortable.

10 points clear of WBA now so that is 7th place sorted. Level on points with Arse but they have three games in hand.

great result , that should see us get a europa spot, june qualifiers no doubt, great progress tho from a team of bottom half finishers to a quality squad challenging for the top 4 places

hope we can do some great business in the summer to help us push on next season

Entertaining match. Couple of points:

Schneiderlin is absolute boss. Missed him really badly in last two games. Whilst Davies, Gueye, and Barkley buzz around mixing the sublime with the sloppy, Schneiderlin keeps things ticking over, playing it simple and taking up the perfect positions. Key player going forward.

The kids are alright. Davies, Holgate and Pennington can be proud of their efforts. Cant be faulted for the goals. First goal had the defense outnumbered and second was bit of a freak goal. Otherwise especially Holgate who shows maturity beyond his years, was excellent.

Give Barkley a break! Sometimes a narrative can take over a player i.e. "Barkley hasnt pushed on". What happens when this perception takes hold is the good things get ignored and the bad things getted amplified. Today, again we saw some good with some bad but by and large he is constantly looking up and moving forward, in a congested part of the pitch in front of the Leicester defense. Excellent cross for Lukaku's goal and containtly trying to force the game.

Mirallas looking to be part of the future. Started like a house on fire and constantly looking to take on his marker. Finishing the season really strong and hopefully will stick around for next season.

Home comforts. Great to see another barrelful of goals at Goodison and could have been more. Still looking to end the season the strong and keep the teams above us looking over their shoulders.
