Really need to have one of Gueye and Schneiderlin to start looking more upfield today to help the wingers create something.

Niasse with a shot, not a bad effort there, straight at the goalie though.

Burnley not sitting back here. First a fierce cross and then a corner is whipped in with great pace.

Siggy with a great chance but he doesn't connect at all from 14 yards out, right at the goalie. That was a great chance, he should have scored to be fair.

I believe we have had more chances in the first 12 minutes than in some of the earlier games this season put together.

Open play - Burnley not looking at playing 8-2-0.

The "problem" with Schneiderlin and Gueye is that neither of them is willing to take on the defender and try and overload the defence by making a run in to the box. They are too static and predictable.

Siggy again with a great chance but his first touch is not good enough and Burnley can clear. Crap, he has now had 2 great chances and he should have scored on at least one of those two chances.

Vlasic is looking strong, he is capable of holding off a couple of players and making a pass. Also looking at going forward, I like that.

I figured we would not keep a clean sheet, and we have created chances going forward, so I still have high hopes here.

The crowd shows their displeasure when half the team is sprinting forward and Schneiderlin has the ball and, of course, passes it backwards. Rolling Eyes

I donít think Gueye is the same player as last year, and that was before that shot

Niasse with a pass to Gueye who shoots from outside the box but he slices his effort wide.†

Burnley are working very hard to get back when losing possession.

The tempo has dropped a bit here. There is not enough help from the CMs to pick up the pace and create something.

Starting to get a bit more worried now. DCL and Vlasic have disappeared from the game the last 15 minutes. Not much created from the CM.
