Everton v Olympique Lyonnais

Post  Sack the Juggler on Sun 15 Oct 2017, 4:12 pm

Everton haven't won in the Europa League since beating Hajduk Split back in August, and we have not travelled well, but at home we have managed a few draws.

Lyon haven't travelled well themselves with only two wins this season, both in the league.

So while we really need to win this to have a chance of getting through the group, its nailed on to be a draw... or Lyon will win, or maybe Everton will win. Anyway, whatever the result, you heard it here first, - the only guarantee is that its not going to be a classic.

Everton to Win 2-0, Madar and Ginola to score, and get lucrative contracts with L'Or饌l shampoo.

Lyon will need to have an incredibly bad day at the office for us to get anything out of this.

0-3, Koeman to be sacked after the defeat by Arsenal.

Koeman will be his own downfall? Schniderlin and Guye are not good enough, plus do we need two defensive midfielders? Rooney up front is pathetic we know Koeman will always pick Rooney so best place for Rooney should slot into defensive Mid,Sigurdsson in the Middle with Vlasic and Lookman out wide with DCL UP front is the best we can do until Coleman-Bolassie fit .

Sadly though Ronald Koeman Is too stubborn. affraid

Against Lyon 2-0 hate the frogs cheers

rubbish sef, they are both good enough, but its a good question about the formation. Let's hope we sort it out before Thursday.

To be fair, I thought they were both poor yesterday. Whoever takes over from Koeman, and it may just be a matter of time now, will surely put Davies in the team ahead of one of those, and will drop Rooney either deeper into midfield or to the bench. We're absolutely hopeless at the moment. When the Brighton fans started singing "Sacked in the morning" at Koeman, quite a few blues joined in - in fact, I'm sure I saw a couple of the players singing along....

Aye, we need an early goal. If it's dull, or we concede first, the atmosphere might get a bit nasty.

Kev, Vlas and DCL up front. No Rooney or Sig. Only one DM. Well done Ronnie!

Not sure about Holgate at LB or Ash even being allowed into the stadium though.
