Still, nice to get another win and another clean sheet. We're now closer to Spuds in 6th than Palace in 18th.

It was bound to happen. Thor was at the match.

Its weird but im not minding this Big Sam appointment. Its almost like we had needed an adult with proper organisational credidentials to go in and get the team playing together again. Even playing with a bit of shape and pattern. Still plenty to do but at least Williams didnt look like an absolute trainwreck and perhaps we have found a way or playing Rooney and Sigi in same team. Early days, and yes the grand vision has to take a backseat for a while but two clean sheets and 6 points should inject some confidence in the squad. Send the u23's to Cyprus and with 'Shaky' and get Sam drilling the defense for the week.

Im still terrified about next week as Shite are scoring for fun and I really cant see our defense keeping them out but at least it doesnt feel like the will rack up 6-7 goals (maybe just 2 or 3!)

I.F.S.I.T (IN FAT SAM I TOLERATE)

I agree with you about Sam. I didn't want him because of his murky past but he has been a breath of fresh air with his no nonsense, down to earth approach. Despite his reputation for being big headed  he really seems to be trying hard to learn about the team and to be doing some nurturing of players who are low on confidence. Good start I think.
